Question:

Do blinds really make a difference when it comes to insulation?

am buying my first home and looking at different blindsI am in an area that has hot summers and cold wintersMy home builder isn't known for the best quality insulationShould I get really good insulated blinds for the windows? Does it really make a difference? I am looking at either wooden blinds or good inslulated ones.

Answer:

Yeah it makes a difference.a big one.I would go insulated.also, solar screens on the outside or on the inside will help tremendously during the summer months! If you do the roll type solar screens on the inside you wont have to worry about blinds either! Best of Luck!
Sapphire refers to gem varieties of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3), when it is a color other than red, in which case the gem would instead be a rubyTrace amounts of other elements such as iron, titanium, or chromium can give corundum blue, yellow, pink, purple, orange, or greenish color.
