Mainly asking about older versions such as the IH-TD-25 dozer because I am looking for soundclips for my model railroad.
contact the bulldozer co. and ask them. they beep when they are in reverse, i heard that. i do not know if they have horns on steering wheel like a car, but catapillar and john deere will tell you.
I've been around a lot of heavy equipment and I've never once heard a bulldozer horn. The reverse 'beeper' didn't exist until maybe 25-30 years ago. These things are so big and loud that you don't need a horn to warn someone out of the way.
