Question:

Do I have to use the special laundry detergant for my fornt loader machine?

The guy said we have to use a specific detergent but you can only get TIDE and I miss my gain smell and yummy softeners. Can I use the normal kind and if i do, is that bad? what will it do to my machine?

Answer:

Mine is the same way, but we have a capartment for softner. You can try to used the normal stuff but use like half as much as you would on a normal washer. The reason why you are supposed to use the special HE stuff is because of the suds factor. Also since the front loaders use less water than a top loader they need a detergent that rinses out easier.
You do need to reduce your soap or switch. It depends on how dirty your laundry is. Reduce to between 1/2 or 2/3 with the regular soap (I love Gain too) or use full strength with the 'he type. If you have kids with their level of dirt, reduced amounts may not work. BTW, if you have a good water softener, you should already be reducing your soap to about 1/2.
attempt throwing some white vinegar wherein includes your next load of clothing, which will help get the musty scent out of the washer. My perfect chum has a front loader that she loves, yet she has the musty scent difficulty too. She began leaving the door open slightly to enable the interior dry out and that took care of the difficulty Forgot to characteristic- do not use the vinegar in case you employ baking soda based detergent...ever see the type of a volcano that used baking soda and vinegar? I had foam arising in the trail of the bathing room sink when I made that mistake!
Yes you do have to use low foaming detergents for front loaders, due to their high mechanical action and low water usage. Wash step:- * Use an enzymated laundry powder with the suffix - Matic (e.g OMO - Matic). They are developed with either low foaming surfactants or have extra Anti foam in their formulations. If using less product to reduce foam height ensure you use a longer wash time to improve wash results. Rinse Step:- * You can also use any yummy fabric softeners you like. You'll be happy to know that they reduce foam height in the final rinse ~;-) Good Luck!!
all washer are the same they wash and you just add soap
