I blew up a 2002 S10 2.2 liter engine, and i have found a 99 S10 2.2 liter engine for sale. I know i will need a computer for the 99 to work in the 2002, but will i need to get a wiring harness as well?
ABSOLUTELY. (actually it's harnesses).
It depends? If you can use the intake and exhaust from your old engine, you might not have to change the computer and wiring because the sensors will be in the same position. If not, then it would be wise to get as much of the wiring harness from the donor engine.
