Ive heard that metal braces/ gold braces work faster than the ceramic clear ones. IS this true? Does anyone know if you can put colours on the gold metal braces? Also does anyone know of any other types of braces? (P.s I know about invisiline)
I actually have both metal braces and ceramic braces. I have ceramic on my top teeth that show when I smile, and metal all the other places. Because both of them are in my teeth, I think they work in sync, therefore they are both effective. You can still put colours on the braces! Don't worry about that :) I believe that there are only metal, ceramic and invisiline darling ;)
I currently got ceramic braces on my top teeth, and in less than the first month, I started seeing great results on my teeth. They are comfortable and don t cut your mouth, they move fast but you can t feel it at all. Once in a blue moon do I ever feel that my mouth is sore. It will hurt when you first get them, but they do stick on pretty good. They don t stain either.
Nothing other than the fabric they are made from and colors they come in.
i have had any kind of braces that you could think of. i first got the ceramic ones and i mostly perscribe those they were as uncomfortable, plus not as much mouth sores the only thing that sucked is because of my situations i couldn't get them removed and taking them off myself the metal ones snapped off but the ceramic ones were stuck good. But ones i got to the denist they came off with no problem. gold ones i think are just for the looks, they work just as well but there way to expensive not worth the money! invisoline are HORRIBLE they are discreet yes but they take 3x as long to striaghen teeth then normal braces. they are used for older people who would look immature having metal mouth being a teenager getting them isnt as much of a big deal, teenagers are known for develping and it is taken lightly! also no matter what kind of braces you get besides invisoline you can add color. the color you see is the bands keeping the wire on the brackets and every set of braces needs this.
