Question:

Do not use oscillograph, how can you measure pulse transformer to be good or bad?

Do not use oscillograph, how can you measure pulse transformer to be good or bad?

Answer:

The pointer multimeter is adjusted to the lowest voltage file, the second is connected to the pulse transformer, and the primary is ready to access the 12V power supply. When the power supply is switched on or off, the pointer of the multimeter is oscillating, indicating that the pulse transformer is good.
Oscillograph is a kind of electronic measuring instrument with wide range of uses. It can transform the electrical signals invisible to the naked eye into visible images, so that people can study the changing process of electrical phenomena. An oscilloscope uses a narrow, high velocity electron beam to hit a screen with a fluorescent material to produce tiny spots of light (which is the work of a conventional analog oscilloscope). Under the action of the measured signal, the electron beam is like a pen's pen tip. It can depict the instantaneous change curve of the measured signal on the screen surface. The oscillograph can observe the waveform curves of various signal amplitudes with time, and can also use it to test various electric quantities, such as voltage, current, frequency, phase difference, modulation amplitude and so on.
It is generally good to measure the initial and secondary coils of a pulse transformer by using a multimeter resistance register.
