Where under the hood is the transmission dipstick in a 96‘ Isuzu Rodeo?
It doesn't have one. To check the fluid level you pull the upper plug in the transmission pan. To put some in the trick is to pour it in thru a vent hose that comes up from the transmission to a spot on the passengers side of the fire wall. Got that from a Isuzu forum some time ago.
Open the hood and look into the engine compartment. On the left side of the engine, in the front, is the dipstick pull handle. If you have an in-line engine, it will be opposite the oil filter. If you have a V-type engine, it will be located just to the left if the oil filter.
that motor vehicle became no longer made to do any towing and if there became a project with what that guy did it would have confirmed up 3 monts in the past no longer 3 months later. Dont blame him on your beat up wiped out transmission its sparkling fluid out the dipstick hollow because of the fact there is injury interior. I advise you rebuils the only interior the motor vehicle asap do no longer keep employing it in case you blow up the case it costs greater money. it could get rebuilt now a sprint greater heavy accountability if your sensible and it will final for a together as longeer. reliable good fortune dont blame mechanics for previous age transmissions
