Question:

do vets have to preform surgery?

i very much want to become a vet when i grow up. i want to be a vet, but do all vets have to do surgery? like are there things you can specialize in? like for example instead of doing surgery on the animal, would you just be able to do a check up? (like at the doctor's office). thanks in advance!

Answer:

costly Melissa, i do no longer understand, yet maximum counties or cities have criminal expert centers the place you could circulate talk to the criminal expert for a million/2 hour for roughly $40. you could call criminal help for a referral, or possibly your close by courthouse might supply you the county referral quantity--or possibly there's a pamphlet interior the courthouse pamphlet field. i in my opinion had worry monitoring down our county's referral quantity (my difficulty grow to be with a remodelling construction contractor). no person regarded waiting to offer it to me on the telephone. yet there it grow to be on the counter of the courthouse, whilst it grow to be too late to do me any good to that end. yet I did circulate talk to a criminal expert for a million/2 hour for $40, and it made me sense extra desirable, even however the respond grow to be that i could neglected my risk in courtroom and that i had no recourse left. a minimum of I knew and could enable it circulate. i'm no criminal expert, besides the undeniable fact that it sounds to me which you have a good risk at getting some reimbursement for vet expenses. i'm particular vets have criminal accountability coverage. Get documentation out of your present day vet, talk to that criminal expert, then initiate writing letters, reckoning on what the criminal expert says. Leaving sponges in sounds like obvious malpractice to me--no longer something iffy approximately it. good luck. enable me understand the way it is going, i could have innovations for you alongside the way.
Try a vet tech
You absolutely have to. What you can do is, is become a vet tech. Get used to helping with surgeries and the sick animals. Then if you decide you want to become a vet, perform surgeries and such, you can always go back to college. Good luck(:
Vets are different than doctors. Vets do regular checkups, surgery and everything in between. Doctors can choose what they specialize in - they can do family medicine (this is who you'd go to for a check up), obstetrics, or surgery. Vets can choose to be more knowledgeable in certain areas, but their entire practice can't be specific. They do shots, blood work, surgeries, regular check ups, teeth cleaning. If you don't want to do surgery, then don't become a vet. A vet tech is more likely up your alley.
The vet nurses do the check ups and non surgical things, maybe you should consider vet nursing? Although i think the may also have to assist in surgery
