Question:

do you really have fire hydrants in america?

i thought it was just a cartoon thing with the dog peeing up the fire hydrant, but do you really have them in your country?

Answer:

i think they are safe for the majority of people with basic motor coordination and how would your dog get tangled up unless you were using it incorrectly i have been using retractable leashes for years with no problem the only issue i have seen with them is some of the budget ones, the handle snaps right back to the neck which will startle most dogs it is better if there is some leash for the handle to snap back to when dropped by the owner and dogs who have ended up in the road or wherever, have owners without basic motor coordination
Retractable leashes, which give the dog the impression he/she is in charge during walks, are one of the main reasons why so many small dogs are such brats.
I've never liked retractable leashes for any dog. I do not think they are safe for either the dog or it's handler.
i have a chihuahua. 8 pounds. and i use a retractable leash. when the leash gets tangled, tighten the slack and stop. the dog will lift up their leg and the leash will become untangled.
If your are talking about a typical oven cleaner, the final step is to wipe out the oven with dilute vinegar and water to eliminate any residue. Then leave the oven open to let the fumes air out. Initially the oven will stink when you first turn it on, but then it's fine.
