Question:

does anyone make a vertical grip battery pack for the Nikon D50?

I would like to buy a batter pack for my Nikon D50 which also has the vertical grip and shutter release. Does anyone know of anyone who makes one? If so, have you tried it, and do you like it? Also, where could I find them, and how expensive are they?

Answer:

Instead of buying a battery pack for D50, go for a spare battery if you want longer battery life. If you are looking for better fps and other advantages, then first think of upgrading your camera body.
ok, there is no battery grip for a D50 (as long as your refering to the extra perice that supply vertical shuter launch and double battery capability like the BGD200 for the D200). Nikon would not make one for the D50
The only ones I know of are bottom mounted. If you turn the camera 90 degrees there's a shutter release at the end of the battery grip that, after turning now is on top.
