I've seen the lifts that you drive up on and they have a motor to lift the car, but they are expensive, I'm looking for something that I can drive up on with all four wheels to a fixed height, kind of like driving your car up on 4 rhino ramps (which is VERY difficult on my driveway).I thought of nailing together some 6x6's and then building som kind of ramp to get the car up on them, but if I'm going to spend time under a car I'd rather use something not built from wood.
Why do you need the whole car off the ground? just jack it up with a floor jack, and support it with jack stands. One side at a time.
