i happened to be on the same airplane with him the other day. wasnt he big about the same time that the crusher was around? btwpoor fella is in a wheelchairbut still wears a red white and blue bandana, and hands out signed autographs to anyone interested :)

this mite sound a little funny but it works,,,,,soak a cassett tape in molassas the thick syrup will help slow it down this will need to be done to half of your tapes,,,the other half will get residue from the player

Not gonna happen the easy way. If you are handy, take it out, take it apart, and clean everything you can find. This usually happens when a fragment of broken tape gets stuck in just the right (wrong really) spot or the rubber roller (call it the speed Governor if you will) gets too shiny to function properly. This rubber roller rolls on a smaller metal rod, the tape when it is playing feeds between them. If the metal roller is not contacting well, the tape will spin too fast. At the extreme, the spring which forces the roller on the rod might be loose or broken. If you are not handy enough to do all this dismantling, you can try running a cassette tape cleaner through it, not a very efficient method, so use the wet type and run it through about 5 times.
