The plastic cards are necessarily more expensive than regular cards, but last 100 times as long. Can't be torn, they are used by the Poker Palace here in Vegas ( a starting house). Around $20 a deck vs $1.89 for a standard deck.

im not exaclty sure but i believ plastic cards are for beginners and the bicycle cards are for real card players yes there is because there not branded by real brands hope this helps
