I assume you have the rubber ball mouse. Flip your mouse and turn the little retainer plastic ring that holds the rubber ball in place. Set the rubber ball and the retainer aside and look at the litter rollers inside: they are probably covered with crud. Scratch the crud off with your finger nails and clean out your mouse. That should probably fix you up!
