Question:

does every japanese child knows how to fold a paper crane?

I'm just curious about it, and i need it for a fan fiction story i'm writing. thanks ^__^

Answer:

im not from Japan although my niece studied there so i assume yes in kindergarten school level there's a activity that well teach you how to make Origami or folding a paper crane and stuff like that however not every child in japan knows it about 80% how know and 20% don't for street children, and those who are hate Origamis ;D
I can't say I've MET every Japanese child. Can't say I even know MOST of them. You may have to go around and ask EVERY Japanese child to find out.
Yes. It is genetically coded into japanese children before birth. As soon as they are born they know how to fold paper cranes. But it takes a couple of years for them to develop the hand coordination to actually do it.
in Tokyo they do and remember wax on wax off
