The gasoline will strip away the grease that lubes the bearings. It will make the bearings wear out faster if thats what you are wanting.
Yes...by washing away the very grease that lubricates and protects them...So does gasoline make bearings run faster?..Yes....Makes them wear out much faster also!
We used to use gasoline to clean bearings. There are better and much safer cleaners out there now. You must grease the bearings before using them. They will fail very quickly if you don't use the proper grease.
