I use one of those large white enamel meat trays that the butcher used to use maybe still does. I have found a few good sizes over the years. They work great. They do not have individual cubbies but still it is functional. Another I have used is the metal trays that deli arrangements come on. They have divided areas and you can throw them out when you are done. Besides that, you can use pie pans, cookie sheets or lids to things. I even did one painting in my kitchen sink.
