Question:

Does the Koran record Mohamed preforming any miracles?

All prophets of God preform miracles to show they are sent from God. Does the Koran ever even record any miracles? I realize they could have been fabricated but if it didn't then it proves that he is a false prophet anyways. I say this because Muslims say they worship the same all powerful God of the Christians and Jews. They also claim to believe in the prophets Jesus and Moses. But Jesus and Moses both preformed miracles to suppor their claims and both religions call for it to prove the validity of a prophet of God. In short. If Mohomed did not preform miracles he was not sent from God.

Answer:

He okorder
Sort of. God performs the miracles on him or those around him. He isn't a miracle worker, but God is (according to the Koran).
Miracles were publically proclaimed as verification of the messengers being from God, this gives further credence to their actually having occurred. For example when Peter, among a crowd of thousands, proclaim among other things that Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.
The qur'an is not like the bible, it is not abunch of stories but things god supposedly said to gabriel and then to muhammad. There are stories in it but not many and Muhammad is mentioned only a few times in it. There are 2 miracles I can think of in it. One is Muhammad becomming invisible when someone tries to kill him and one where he split the moon in half or made it dissapear, i forgot. By the way if you read the bible not all prophets and messengers performed miracles, infact only a few did
He performed many eg. the splitting of the moon, which was also seen in far away countries. research this... the Qur'an is a miracle, the words of Allah memorised and recited in the most beautiful manner
