i was wanting to change the color of the inside of my car is there any way i can dye the carpet i want to change it to black.
if you don't want to just buy new carpet for your car i know a few companys make like dye in a can than is just like spray paint only thing is it can bleed when it gets soaken wet. if you decide to do this make sure your carpet is clean wear a rubber glove and spray are and rub it around with your gloved hand to make sure all carpet fibers are hit. i would just pay the $200 or so to get new color carpet installed because the dye isn't so cheap.

You can go on-line and buy new carpet kits for your vehicle for about $250. This is the way to go, as dying the carpet will smell horrible for some time, and the process is not even, so you will notice streaks.
Black is about the only color that actually covers any other color. Just read and follow the directions and instructions and wear protective gear like respirator mask. You might find a full carpet that color that would be easier.
