Question:

Electricity and magnetism?

What is magnetic induction and a magnetic field? Also, what is an electric field? I don‘t undersand the concept so it‘s difficult to solve the numericals. Any help is welcome. Also the what is the earth‘s magnetic field and why do we have one?thanks

Answer:

magnetic induction is the concept that a changing electric field (from an electron accelerating around a loop say) produces a magnetic field. An electric field is the force measured around a point charge or wire. When there are two point charges together in space the electric field is the carrier of the force which is exerted between the two charges. The earth's magnetic field has a value of 5 x 10^-5 Tesla or 0.00005 T The earth's magnetic field is generated by the movement of the liquid iron outer core revolving around the solid iron inner core. Hope this helps a bit. What level are you at? College, University, School?
A magnetic field represents the force measured in voltage of a magnet. Magnetic induction is the force that a coil would experience on a magnet passing through the center. An electric field is the SI unit of force exerted by a particle with a charge.
dont used them much and replace pads before them wear out use front more than back work back and front together drag your feet more not sure what you mean not much to it you use them to stop you replace them when wore out use the front a bit more than back
Here are my definitions: Magnetic Induction: The magnetic force brought about a magnetic field onto something that is either magnetically charged or electrically charged. That force will magnetically charge the object that it influences. Magnetic Field: The influence in time and space brought about by electric charge in motion. Magnetic fields affect anything magnetically or electrically charged. Its units are either Teslas or Gausses. Electric Field: The influence in time and space brought about by stationary and moving charges. Electric fields affect anything that is electrically charged. Its units are either Newtons per Coulombs or Volts per meter. Earth's Magnetic Field: The magnetic influence brought about by a dynamo within the Earth's core. A core of different magnetic materials is rotating, which produces a current, and a magnetic field.
