Question:

excavator tracks have fallen off and need to be put back on?

I have a jd 190E excavator, my right side tracks came off on the front. After several hours, and a few guys I still can not seem to pull it back on. Any suggestions

Answer:

Loosen up the grease fitting where you tension tracks then fully collapse that cylinder work track back in place then pump cylinder full of grease to retighten tracks.
I would give bigpapa a thumbs-up if I could. That's exactly what to do.
release track adjuster tensioner, by loosening grease fitting and pushing idler back. then find master pin and split track, to put back on. you may have to remove two track pads, to easily get to master pin. master pin usually has a dimple to set it apart from regular pins.
Get a chain fall and try to pull back on use the Machine to help run the track back into place.
glue?
