Hey i have a dodge dakota and both catylitic converters are falling apartchipping off making a rattling noise.there was a lawsuit against this giving trucks from 1996-2001 a warantyunfortunatly my truck is 2002we are curently talking to dodge about getting this warentybutit will cost 1500 to factory fixis there any other options i can do other than getting new catalitic converters.like getting a whole new exhaust system??? any suggestions(SORRY FOR SPELLING lol)
If you don't have any success with claiming replacement under emission warranty, then foget getting stock replacements. Look for aftermarket high-flow replacements, and give yourself some extra horsepower for less money than Dodge's ripoff stock replacements.
