Its actually an alloy of NI, Cu etc.
pedia shows the content as 75% Cu and 25% Nickle so yes it does contain nickle,
An ore first has to be extracted from the ground. The mineral of the ore that you're looking for (for instance iron is the mineral that you want when you dig up iron ore) needs to be isolated from the parent rock and refined into the raw mineral product that you want to get.
