I am in the process of building a CC cage for my Guinea Pig. I was hoping I wouldn't run out of connectors, but of course, did. Is there anywhere I can purchase extra connectors? (Please, not online, too much for shipping.) If not, would cable ties do the job?
cable ties would be just fine. i used them to make a playpen for my guiena pig.
Yes! Cable ties can do the job. I hear that it's best to put 2 ties in the same place to ensure that the cage will be stable.
In terms of extra connectors I have seen packs of connectors at both Bunnings (hardware store) and Target, so you may want to look there. Otherwise cable tyres/zip ties will do the job, make sure that you pull them as tight as you can, sometimes using pliers can help to achieve this purpose.
