It might just be the quality of the liner, I usually go for something like MAC fluid line which runs about $15, or something like any liner from Urban Decay or Smashbox. They're all really good brands that have excellent quality liners. However, all you might need is just a couple of quick fixes. 1) You should use an eyeshadow (base) primer before applying anything to the eyes-this doesn't only help with making the look of your eyeshadow brighter and more vibrant, but it also helps create a smooth surface and helps prevent things like creasing and smudging. 2) I suggest applying a thin layer of loose or compact translucent powder to your lid (mainly your crease or where the liner creases most) before or after applying the eyeliner. This creates a sort of barrier from the liner itself, to your skin I do this to prevent smudging to my lid crease whenever I wear just eyeliner and no eyeshadows (: hope this helps!
