lmao how do lift a car with bearings?? wtf
Dear Stereode. What tools do you have available? I would say that wood blocks are probably your best bet. Not all wood is the same, however. I would use oak or some other tuff wood. Drill and shape as necessary and paint with a good deck varnish (three coats) Let dry between coats. Aluminum blocks would also work well, but would cost more. Another idea would be to put on larger wheels if you are not going to raise it to much. That would also make it go a little faster. Why are you raising the golf cart? Are you making it street legal? It can be done. In most states, a vehicle must clear the ground by at least six inches, have lights, horn, and be able to stop in 22 feet at 20 miles per hour. Also, have a license plate. If that is your plan, contact your highway patrol and ask questions. I know of a few cases where golf carts have been made street legal---usually so a handicapped person can get around, or go shopping etc. Hope this helps. (-:[ Logan A
