What do you call those cameras with a long looking pole that goes high on films or news to see a view from a high pointThose long cameras with a support of some pole looking thingI was wondering what they were called.
Other than what jbeattie21 stated, the only other pole for a camera would be a monopodIt's similar to a tripod but is just one leg and you can extend it in segments just like if you were using a tripodI'm not sure about what you are asking concerning the camera.any kind can mount to a monopod as long as it has a screw-in hole on the bottom of the camera.
