I've looked around, there is no fire or CO2. But every 5 minutes this alarm beeps so I figure the batteries are dying. But I can't seem to pull it off the ceiling to figure out what batteries are needed. I don't have a ladder, just a swivel chair.Any idea?

Lim Yuan has most of the points. Just to add a bit more. China, India, Vietnam, Mexico etc.these countries intake clothing , shoes etc.manufactures. Because of the following reason: 1. Lot's of people need work, they create employment there. 2. Lower labour cost. People are able to work long hours with lower pay, can you? (They need work, no choice) 3. Mass production, they produce quantity in order to cope with the market demand. 4. Cheaper production cost, machinenary cost. 5. Cheaper bulk shipment by the containers. Entrepreneurs calculated well in advance before decided to have their products being manufacture in these countries.B ig boys ,like Ikea, home depot in China too, you know why, don't you? Ha ha yes well, China is a big industrious country! And we (U.S, U.K etc) don't have as many workers as china does so we have to send some work overseas. Since they have to ship it back, which costs money, the price of the garment is also high. Hope that helped!
