Okay, I have a fog machine that I want to use in a elementary school's gym for a dance next week. Im worried though, because it happened at my house, that the fog is gonna set off the fire alarms. I really am not using that much, just enough to make the lights on the stage look cool. Im not sure if I can have the fire alarms turned off for 2 hrs without being arrested! Is there anyway to have a fire marshal or police officer present so the fire engine doesn't show up outside?
I can understand your reasoning, but really, that situation is an accident waiting to happen. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a deadly situation, plus it's a total fire hazard. I wouldn't be able to lay my head down to sleep with any type flame burning. It seems free but you only have one life and you need to be responsible and protect it. Also if you start a fire or cause a gas explosion, you are responsible for the destiny of all of the other people in your complex.Now while you are up and awake, you can put a large pot of water over the stove which will still heat up the room but you need to be there to keep replacing the evaporated water . That could give you some heat temporarily but ONLY while you are up. Buy yourself an electric blanket to sleep with. It doesn't use that much electric and will keep you warm at night. Don't gamble with that gas burner..you may eventually be sorry you did.

Take that old half gallon of milk thats been sitting on the counter for months and dump it on the cat. Or put the cat in a vacuum and start it.
