Fire explorer question?

I am a fire explorer and have been in the post for about 6 months now. I am 17 years old and I am in good shape (physically). I want to be even more fit for training. There is a local park down the street from my house with a county fire station, and I wanted to go ask them if I can borrow a 50 foot hose and walk it in my back around the park for at least 2 miles (I've seen firemen do this walk around the park). Would this be a good idea to ask the firemen for a hose or what do you guys think? I am planning to introduce myself before I ask. Tips would be help full and no BS answers. Thanks.

Answer:

welder's face shield must be worn to prevent arc-eye and unwanted radiation if any. This is an OSHA requirement answer
This is a completely normal phase of growth. They are learning to dress themselves. Undressing is the easy part. They run around stark naked to pee you off. So, when they undress, say wow you took your clothes off! I am proud of you that you learned to do that. Let's see if you can put them on. Teach them with elastic waist pants and tshirts to start they are easiest. Pick up one of those dolls with the zippers, buttons, and ties.and maybe a book about getting dressed.
