I am trying to outfit my apartment complex with proper fire safety. I need to know what the code is in having fire extinguishers in the complex. I called the city, I called the fire department and they told me to check with the National Fire Protection Association.. I did that and they want me to pay for the information. So if anyone happens to know or if you have the code it would help me alot. Again what is the code on having fire extinguishers in apartment buildings? like how many per area and things like that.
try checking the wires that connects the alarm to the window. some alarms are designed to really do go off when the connection is broken. That is why alarms go off when window or doors are opened.
