Overflow of flux was not wiped at time of sweating. Now (20 years later), that has turned a turquoise blue/green. Is this stuff a alkaline, or acidic?Best method to neutralize the chemical reaction with household stuff???Thanks.
Take it to the dealer and get it fixed.
OWNERS MANUAL OR FUSE DOOR FIND A FUSE THAT SAYS ALARM OR ALRM PULL IT OUT WITH YOUR FINGERS OR USE NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS.
You go to the dealer and have them fix it so it operates properly. Any attempt to defeat it will only add to your problems, as it will assume someone is attempting to disable the alarm to steal the car, and it will shut if down to where you will then have to tow it to the dealer rather than drive it. Of course, if you always lock using the key and have the key in your hand, you can get back in which might help in the mean time.
They isn't, replace the pipes. The flux has also been flushed down the line inside the pipes and has pitted the walls making them weak. They will eventually fail.
Baking Soda will neutralize the Acid . just make a paste of Soda and Water and slather it on. Have Your Plumber check the pipes for damage.
