Question:

Ford Self-test connector?

I have a 1995 ford ranger and i cant seem to find the self-test connector can anybody help??

Answer:

If it's OBD-I then it will be under the hood. It will be grey and say EEC test on it.
I do know that on a 95 Explorer that the connector is under the hood on the drivers side toward the firewall. It will have a connector holding it in place. You should have the EECIV sysyem.
Check under the instrument panel, on the driver's side, directly below the steering column for the 16-pin Data Link Connector. Even though it's a 1995 model year, some vehicles were already OBD-II compliant before 1996 model year. Hope this helps.
