Hey, Two days ago i noticed that when I was accelerating my car would get stuck at 30 MPH. I would have to rev it a few times before it got above thirty, and then it would have no problems unless I went below thirty and tried to go up again. It didn‘t do it when I coasted down a hill past thirty and then accelerated. My status window said check transmission. Can anyone diagnose this?
As Long as you keep your system sealed and clean there should be no problems with using the Other ones other than A Nice braking feel
Take it to your Ford Dealer.
check transmission fluid might be to low as have to rev to build up pressure
Check transmission means: Check transmission. You need to take it to a qualified mechanic that can hook up to the computer and read the failure codes. The code will tell you what you need to fix. Without a code, diagnostics is darn near impossible. As mentioned earlier, you'll want to check your fluid levels. The question would be -- where did the fluid go? You'll then need to check transmission. I would recommend Ford but you could try AAMCO or some other Transmission shop.
you cant just change the fluid you will have to change your brake lies because the fluid will turn to mush if it comes in contact with the old type of fluid
