Almost everything work slower in colder temps. Resin doesn't dry but it has to cure. That means, there is a chemical reaction that happens inside, and you get the solid material at the end. With warmer temps, it will progress faster when cold, it will slow down considerably, or not completely form at all if too cold. Changing the amount of chemicals may not make much difference, or you will get unsatisfactory results. Try to follow directions as much as possible for best results.
