Getting car lifted Question******?

I have a 1999 toyota corolla. Due to severe back problems, I can‘t keep bending down to get in and out. I was thinking about getting it lifted about 12 inches. How much would the kit cost? What are the negatives of doing this?

Answer:

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure they don't make a kit like that for any car. A 6 lift on a 4x4 truck is huge! Can't imagine making a car 12 higher.
It would require a complete retooling of the entire suspension system. Meaning custom everything. If you go taller, you've got to increase stability, meaning wider axles, tires, and wheels, which could interfere with wheel rub while turning the steering. Unless you own a machine shop or work at monster garage, it would be much cheaper and beneficial for you to buy a midsize SUV, or to just go to the chiropractor. If I were to guess how much a custom kit like this would cost, including labor, I am thinking around $10,000.
You wont get any peak particularly reason the vehicle will nonetheless be at the identical tires. You'll have a bit of bit extra peak beneath the vehicle however that is it. Also you need to consider there will probably be a horny large unpleasant hole among your tires and the arch if you do not difference the tire measurement.
