Question:

Getting real tired of wearing glasses?

Since about 3rd grade I had to wear these things, now 15. They just cause so much dang trouble. Can't play sports unless I want to pay $200 bucks for a new pair when they break. Makes safety goggles uncomfortable which is bad when I'm constructing buildings (which is about 16 hours a week). If I misplace them before I go to bed I usually spend 30+ minutes in the morning looking for them by rubbing my hand all across every place I could have left them. I never really used to be so annoyed by this but damn, I hate these things now. I used to have contacts but touching my eyes is just not something I'm very good at.

Answer:

Hello, I use 'baby monitors' to alert me to doors opening or movement. I use an inexpensive wireless motion sensor and alarm (chime) to alert me to movement wherever I set it up. I have one set up outside pointing at my car in the driveway. To get past it you activate the chime so I can see you before you get to the door. They also make night vision cameras you can set up that use an inexpensive TV you can move from room to room.
Straighten a coat hanger and tape drawstring to one end. Thread the hangar through the clothes and pull the sting along with it.
Make sure no bushes are blocking your windows. You can cut to fit dowels for your windows. Cut so they fit tight. I have an ornamental rope with brass bells hanging on one door knob. My backyard gates are kept locked with two locks each. Hope you enjoy your new home.
