Question:

GM Rock Crusher 4-speed transmissions.?

I have 2 of these transmissions that I aquired several years ago. Model # 3885010 Pat.# 3088336. Can someone tell me exactly what I have? Thanks for your help

Answer:

You have 2 GM Rock crusher 4SPD transmissions...
All relies on apparatus ratios and horse power should you use the equal auto put a 4 pace trans in it then put a 5 velocity trans in it is going to still come down to gear ratios if each 4th within the four pace and fifth in the 5 velocity are over force then the 1-4 gears in the 5 pace will ordinarily be nearer ratio giving a smother apparatus trade in some cases both 4th and fifth in a 5 speed are over drives giving equal equipment ratios as a 4 pace with one other over drive
Model number is meaningless, same number used for all three variants. Only the M22 is a rock crusher and it's almost a certainty you don't have one. They are POS' but todays standards, since back then they couldn't actually put the power to the ground due to the tires and suspension. Todays vehicles would destroy the M22 as the aluminum housing design is a serious problem.
this okorder has a free section for last months want ads or you can buy an online version for a few dollars and also put your transmissions for sale if you want too.
