im also making a pointy cobble roof so please keep that in mind, also im not sure what to do after ive made the house, any ideas of what i can do?( lt;lt;lt;lt;lt; put that in the answer as well)
In MC, I always like having rooms that have walls that have 4 visible/usable blocks so that I can stack a 2 block high window in the center of it and still have wall above and below itIf you are just wanting a little 1 room sort of hut, then I would start out with something about 4 blocks tall, 8 blocks wide, and 16 blocks long (this would allow for a 6x14 rectangular grid of floor space)on the next block after the 4th one I would start your cobble, and move inwards 1 each timeIf you want the roof to have a 1 block point, then you will have to make the width an odd number (ie: either 7 or 9.or any other number you choose)Also, afterwards, you can go exploring in underground caverns.those are fun and you get lots of resourcesOr build more buildings.landscape.build a house in the sky.build a minecartgo exploring above ground.the possibilities are endless.its Minecraft!!
Yes, you can put a layer or two of foil on the grill pan and lay your cookies on it to bakeYou could even put them on any flat bottomed pan you have that is oven safe! some have plastic or wooden handles so they won't work in the oven.
Cookie sheets are really cheap at the dollar stores To answer your question, yes I think you could use your grill pan as long as it doesn't have plastic handlesYour idea of covering it with foil should work just fineDepending on the thickness and quality of the foil, I'd try at least three layersYou don't want the foil sinking into the grill groovesI'd spray the pan with cooking spray or grease it with shortening or oilAgain, I haven't actually done this but it sounds reasonable.
Maybe take some thick cardboard.the kind that pizza from the store comes on and bake like 12 cookies at at time.or more if you have a bigger piece of cardboard but if you don't have card board at all I think your idea would workGood Luck!
