Answer:

Cheap Muzzleloader
The most common is a .50 caliber. For other calibers you would probably have trouble finding ammunition. (NONE is available for my .32, squirrel rifle, so I have to mold my own.) There are many good in-line brands, and ALL have iron sights. (In some states you can NOT use telescopic sights OR sabot bullets during muzzle loader seasons.) MOST in-line units use 209 primers these days. Personally, I prefer caplock or flintlock, and have both. (My .50's are T/C Hawkins that I have had more than 20 years.)
I use a Traditions buckstalker paid $175 new. Scope was an extra $40 Is break action and uses 209 primers. Damn nice and well worth the price. One caveat, look at the last 2 digits of the serial # and get one that has the last 2 digits 11. Reason, it requires no tools to remove breech plug. also, if you should take my advice and get this model, Traditions recommends using their brand of breech plug lube. I say Anti-Sieze is much better. this model is soooo easy to clean, you open the action, put the muzzle in a bucket of hot soapy water and run patches through until they end white after a trip thrigh the bore.
