Question:

Good golf irons under $800?

What is a list of some good irons under $800.

Answer:

I just bought a new set of irons. Haven't even gone to the driving range with them yet. Haven't had time. But, I went to Golf Galaxy, talked the sales guy, told him about my game and what I wanted to accomplish. He pulled the same iron from 3 different brands. I hit all 3 in the store and looked at the feedback on the monitor. I wound up getting the TaylorMade Burner Plus on sale for $599. Several of the OEM have clubs on sale right now (last years model) but you need to get the one you hit best. As the guy said don't buy a brand just because you think they are the best, they may not suit you game the best.
reallly nothing if there stock rims
Dude you can get whatever iron you want on EBay brand new for less than 800 By the way don't listen to these idiots talking about component irons that are custom made First of all the average is person is just that very average and the distance from thier fingertips to the floor will be the same whether the person is 5'4 or 6'2 That is why virtually everyone can use standard clubs at standard lengths - Custom club makers want to customize a club to your poor setup ie way flat because you stoop over etc etc
spend a few minutes researching each manufacturer's website , get an idea of what u need . Then go pound balls at the range using all the different models u wanna . You'll soon find that some models stand out from the crowd in terms of useful ness for you . All club manufacturer's have iron sets under 800 , and if one is higher than that u can prolly find em used for under 800 . Happy hunting ! As for a list : Titliest Callaway Mizuno Taylormade Nike Cobra Wilson Tour Edge Nickent Ping I'm sure there are more but all have top of the line clubs on the market.
