hey ok so my room is getting redecorated like i am getting the walls painted new furniture and currently i have white carpet and actually its not so white anymore because of spilling stuff all over it and yeah i need some really really good tips on how to clean it so it at least looks white again! thanks so much in advanceee
You should have the whole carpet cleaned. For the cost of one or two cleanings, you can buy your own carpet cleaner.It's a good option.
you could rent a rug doctor and clean the carpets. They usually rent for about $25-$30 and then you just buy the soap to go in it. My parents always add a little ammonia to the water too so it helps bring out the stains.
Carpet stains: Mix equal parts white vinegar with water in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto the stains, let sit for several minutes, and clean with a brush or sponge using warm soapy water. For a heavy duty carpet cleaner, mix 1/4 cup each of Borax, salt and vinegar. Rub paste into carpet and leave for a few hours. Vacuum. After you get it clean - vacuum every other day - that is critical and don't wear your shoes on the carpet. Keep you feet as clean as possible. Animals are another source of dirt on floor surfaces.
