Not really. The Shield will be Tweeners, I think. The fans just find them awesome (so do I) which is why they cheer for them despite their Heel Gimmick. The Shield consists of three of the most talented individuals I have seen. Dean is a little eccentric, Seth is an amazing in ring technician, and Roman is just power and finishing, with high impact moves. Somehow, they complement each other. They can be successful on their own, but as a team, they'll be one of the best there ever was.
