Hair straightening, help!?
Is it a bad idea to shower, blow dry and straighten my hair before i go to sleep; then straighten it again in the morning? I generally don't have a lot of time in the morning, so i shower at nighti also am trying to keep my hair straight all throughout the day, but i don't want to add any extra heat damage to my hair.

well most thing people forget about when wearing make-up is to see if the make-up COMPLETELY matches ur skin toneif its off by being too dark, too light, or too red it wont look naturali find that just using powder foundation looks way more even then wearing liquid, plus it lasts longer since it gets absorbed by ur skins natural oilsalso if its really noticeable, try dermablendcelebrities use itand its not expensive.its sorta like a concealer(liquid concealer) anyways, just dab a lil bit on the spots an just apply ur powder foundation so u dont have to clump on cake loads of foundationi truly hope this helps you.

I highly reccommend you use Bare Minerals (c) The makeup actually improves your skin each time you use itThat can be kind of expensive depending on how you get itIf you're looking for something less expensive, I suggest just a cheap foundation from the drug storesBut before you put it on, make sure to wipe your skin with an acne pad, Oxy pads work wellAnd then again after you take it offRemember to wash your fase TWICE a dayNo more, no less!! too much will dry out your skinn, and too less, well, You'll get pimplesI'm not sure if it's came out in stores yet, but Cetaphil is a GREAT spot treatment for zits and blemishes.

I shower at night as well as I usually work out in some way during the day that makes me sweat, plus I'd rather not have to blow out and straighten my hair in addition to showering (that's easily an hour and a half!)I feel your pain! I wash my hair, put in whatever serums needed, and allow it to naturally dry as I sleepUse a good, high count silk pillow case-it will help cut down on the frizzysIn the morning, I gently comb through, spray on thermal protectant, and straightenI've not had a problem with it not staying straight throughout the whole day (and if I do not wash it that evening, the next morning it only needs a little touch up with the flat iron)My hair is downright horrible and scary without flat ironing itIf you are abusing (I use that term lightly, but heat styling is notoriously horrible to hair) you hair by continuously heat styling it, make sure to baby it at all other times to help prevent damageI do this by using gentle, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner (Pureology-don't be scared by the price, the bottles seem to last forever, but there are many other brands too), deep conditioner (on the towel dryed ends a couple times a week, I like Redken's Extreme Rescue Force), and a special end moisturizer called Anti-Snap by RedkenMake sure you're using a ceramic flat iron, not just a ceramic plated one, as the ceramic ones heat evenly and do not burn the hairA thermal protectant spray is a must-Redken's 22 Hot Sets is highly recommended, and I like their 15 Spray Starch as well.
