I have a 35quot; silo I want to tear down. It is constructed of 2 feet long tounged and grooved concrete blocks with lots of round rods for bands to hold it together.I have a building within 6 ' of it. I don't know if I could climbup the chute or the outside ladder and pull my torch up and cut the bands and knock out one block at a time or tru and diaanimate it. I am afraid it may fall on my barn.Need some advice.I know I could call a demolition crew but I don't have that kind of money. I do have an excivaror ( track hoe) and could tie long chaim to the top and knock holes in the bottom, but it could be dangerous. No wise cracks Please.Considering building a 10' platform inside and going inside and using a 25 ' ladder and work from inside.Problem is gettng the ladder inside, but not impossible.
