Question:

Has anyone on here used spray polyurethane insulation under their manufactured home instead of the fiberglass?

My friend said she had less problems with the spray polyurethane insulation as far as pests and rodents and insulates her manufactured home better-would like to hear from others who sprayed this under their manufactured home.

Answer:

Sprayed polyurea foam (SPF) would be the best product you can getIt works best by sealing all cracks and holes were ants and roaches crawl inAlso insulates the metal structure so cold steel doesn't transfer the heat to you floorAnd heat doesn't cause SPF to shrinkThe shrinkage is caused from the SPF chemicals being old, not mixed prior to shooting or not at the proper temp when appliedWe provide roof coatings that we make called Kool RoofYou can walk barefoot on our roof structures in the middle of summerGreat stuffYou can also get DIY kits so you can spray it yourself from our supplierGetting to electrical and plumbing is not a problemIt can be torn down by hand to get to plumbing, shoved back into place and easily re-sealed.
your hair must be light light blonde or white for it to really work sorry
