Question:

Have you ever preformed CPR on a pet?

Would you be willing to preform CPR on an animal?Since I raise goats, I've preformed CPR on newborn kids, and saved them. Lambs too.I personally would rather perform CPR on an animal (even one gloppy with the birth quot;jelly.quot;) than I would another human I'm not related too.

Answer:

I did CPR on a dummy dog last week. If you did it correctly there was a green light, if you did it incorrectly it was red. Since I'm training to be a vet tech, I kinda have to be willing to perform CPR as it will be part of my job... No choice there really!
I have only done it on people but would if necessary on an animal. Well unless it was an ape or something gross.
I took a pet CPR class, but I've never used it on a real animal.
I've never had to do it (knock on wood), but I would in a heartbeat if I had to in order to save one of my animals.
yes i have when i was about ten years old i was reading a lot of first aid books and when my hamster (his name was pearl) died i revived him 3 times i couldn't help him the fourth time i tried though! at least he didn't die alone i have performed cpr on a human also but i don't think that was your qeustion
