Like the tall cranes on construction sites. I mean, suddenly they're just magically there!
Not in urban areas. Most cranes are put up overnight to avoid disturbing traffic and so forth. I work for a shipping company. They do put up huge cranes overnight and it is quite amazing to see, once or twice. The magic is how well it's organised. And how Santa comes along to give his blessings.
