I've been having difficulty raising my soft pallet for singing. I can do it naturally if I yawn, which is usually how people describe the effect of raising it. But Yawning means I'm breathing in. If I try and breath out, I find I can't raise it, and therefore I can't sing with it in-place.I've also had difficulty lowering my Adams Apple, which I've been told is important.Help appreciated.
