A composite bar where the inner layer diameter(d1) is 3mm ,d25mm,d38mm,d418mm,(outer layer)d525mm.If a current of 12 amps is passed to it then how much heat it would generate. I know only this much data(maybe voltage is 230 and resistance is 20ohm).I want to know the heat conduction it does(maybe with convection also if possible). can anyone help me with the numericals?
do you know what material the different layers are made of? This is definitely needed
I live in Phx. and a couple of my sleds have rear drum brakes,I notice that they will start to fade out. What I used to do is take them apart and sand off the glaze that forms and causes them to fade. Now what I learned is to get a brand new set of shoes and with a hacksaw cut grooves at 45 a degree angle all around and drill holes at the bottom of the drum. This allows the brake dust to collect in the grooves and fall out the holes and my brakes last longer and don't fade. I also dont bother to ride in August at all. Today it was 105 degrees!
